Challenging and promoting talent is the mission statement of Fresenius University of Applied Sciences and AMD Akademie Mode & Design. A university-wide talent network has been established in order to fulfil this mission in the future. Within this network, we would like to open up special opportunities and possibilities to all students who, according to a modern definition of talent, can impress in various areas of life. You too can become part of the Ludwig Fresenius talent network!

Promoting special talents
THE ROLE OF TEACHING
No one is closer to our talents than the university’s teaching staff. Involving teaching is therefore a high priority for the Ludwig Fresenius Talent Network (LFTN). There are two important aspects to the inclusion of teaching:
Talent Professor: For each department at all university locations, the LFTN is supervised by a talent professor. This person plays a key role in the decision to admit new talent. In addition, a talent professor contributes ideas and contacts to the programme design for the talents. A Local Hero is responsible for organisational and administrative tasks at each location.
Recommendations: Before each application phase, the LFTN of the respective location writes to the teaching staff and asks for recommendations of particularly committed students. These students recommended by the teaching staff are also asked to submit an application for the LFTN in an individualised message with the subject line “You have been recommended for the Ludwig Fresenius Talent Network!”.
